Do you hire the climbing wall?

Do you hire for indoor sports?

Yes, you can book for any indoor sport activity, climbing lessons, badminton, short tennis, table tennis, volleyball or other racquet sports that use a badminton court/net i.e. Pickleball. Businesses can hire our Sports/Community Hall for sports/fitness classes and our climbing wall can be booked by professional coaches and instructors who hold the appropriate Professional Award, current First Aid Certificate, Liability Insurance and references.

How much is the venue hire?

Sports/Community Hall Standard Hire £14 per hour & Commercial Hire £20 per hour, The Hastings Room Standard Hire £12 per hour each & Commercial Hire £15 per hour, Outside Space Standard Hire £10 per hour & Commercial Hire £20 per hour, Badminton Court, Table Tennis & Volleyball £10 per hour. Our fully equipped kitchen for catering, (kitchen for making hot drinks and food storage is included in the hire charge), changing rooms and bar area are also available to hire from £5 per hour as required – please ask for details. Exclusive hire available.

How/when will I pay for hire?

Our bookings administrator will email your hire invoice and damage/loss deposit fee – to confirm your booking full payment will need to be made when invoiced. Payment can be made by all major credit and debit cards, BACS or cheque.

Do you hire for Children’s Parties?

Yes, great value at only £14 an hour we have a large indoor space perfect for bouncy castles and up to 250 guests, fully equipped kitchen, picnic area with 9 tables and 5 acres of leafy, secure grounds, all the ingredients you need for an amazing children’s party. We recommend a 4 hour booking slot – £56 which includes tables, chairs, kitchen for food storage and making hot drinks, set up and clean down time. We also have list of suppliers including bouncy castles, entertainers and workshops – see our Venue Hire page or ask for details.

What kind of bar do you have?

We have Licensed Bar options run by award winning Norfolk bar businesses specialising in bespoke, premium bars.

Do you have Wedding Packages?

Yes, we offer whole venue hire for 250 people indoors and outdoors have over 5 acres of leafy grounds ideal for a marquee from June – August inclusive. We can also help with bespoke options including award winning staffed bar, catering, DJ’s, bands, entertainers, deco, drapes, marquees  – our friendly and knowledgeable team will work with you to ensure all of your requirements are met for your special day.

Can I park at Morley Village & Sports Hall?

Car parking is free for all visitors at Morley Village & Sports Hall. The car park can accomodate 60 vehicles and an overflow car by prior arrangement. Two disabled parking bays are available outside the main entrance. There is a bike rack area available on the right hand corner of the main entrance. Coach Parking There is room for coaches to park by prior arrangement.

Do I need to bring my own tables and chairs?

Included as part of your hire agreement, (unless otherwise stated), are 25 x Gopak Folding Rectangular Tables,100 x metal framed banqueting chairs with burgundy upholstered seat and back, 50 x plastic chairs for children’s parties. 10 x Circular White Banqueting Tables that seat 8-10 per table, and additional plastic indoor and outdoor chairs and tables are available on request. All equipment resources are limited and subject to availability, so we advise you book these as soon as possible.

Is there access to power and water?

There is access to power and water in all our hireable spaces, including outdoors, however supply varies. Contact us in advance if you require access to power and we will advice you on the best set up.

Do you provide catering?

We provide you with details of recommended award winning suppliers who offer a range of options including wedding and party food, meeting refreshments, lunches, canapes and drinks.

Do I need Public Liability Insurance for a commercial event?

Yes, your Public Liability Insurance should offer an appropriate level of cover for your specific event.

Is there access to WiFi?

Yes, there is free public WiFi in all the spaces.

How do I get my event added to your social media?

When you book we will ask you to message us on Facebook or Instagram with details of your event and images for us to share where we can.

Is there Public Transport nearby?

Yes, the nearest bus stop is on Norwich Road, a short walk away https://bustimes.org/services/13-spixworth-attleborough-via-a11-and-wymondham and Wymondham Train Station and Attleborough Train Station are both only a short taxi journey away and have connections across East Anglia and to London.

What time must our event finish?

Last orders must be called at 11.45pm with the bar shutting at Midnight. Guests must leave by 12.30am. It is essential to book taxis in advance.

Disabled Facilities

All facilities are on the ground floor with no steps with the exception of the first floor Meeting/Therapy Room. There are two Blue Badge parking bays immediately outside the main entrance and a dedicated accessible toilet. There is no fixed seating so wheelchair spaces can be positioned anywhere in the Sports & Community Hall. Currently there is no permanent hearing loop fitted, however we can make arrangements upon request.

What Toilets & Baby Changing do you have?

There are toilets available off the main foyer and in the changing rooms. Baby changing is available in Morley Village & Sports Hall disabled toilet adjacent to the female toilets.

What times do we have access?

Depending on the time and nature of your event you may have access the previous day/evening/morning to decorate and set up for your event; we will discuss your requirements and arrange with you in advance your set up and clearing away access times.

What are your room sizes?

Our sports/community hall is 20 metres x 10 metres x 6 – 7.2 metres high and our Hastings Meeting Room is 9.5 metres x 4.5 metres
